The heating rod can be sideways, erected, and placed in the water obliquely. Just ensure that the water level line is immersed in water.

Why does the LED display display E1 code error?

The water level is too low. Make sure the heater and the temperature sensor on top are fully immersed in the water.

(The heating rod cannot be covered with sediment, otherwise it will cause damage due to uneven heating. )

Why does the LED display display HH/LL code error?

HH: Water temperature exceeds 94°F, over-temperature warning and the aquarium will stop heating.

LL: Low temperature warning when the water temperature is lower than the set value. This usually happens during a water change.

After a few months of use, the heater failed and the temperature was inaccurate. what do I do?

Deposits attached to glass tubes can affect temperature sensing and transmission. Please cut off the power supply, clean the heater and remove any attached sediments.

(Soak the heater in 84 for 1-2 hours).

Why did the plastic casing of the heating rod melt?

When changing or cleaning the aquarium.

Turn off the heater first.

Note: Wait at least 10 minutes before removing the heater from the water. Otherwise, the internal glass heating tubes will melt the heater shell instantly at temperatures above 400°F.

The heater temperature show it exceeds the set temperature? The water temperatures vary greatly in different locations?

The aquarium is too small or less water. The heater heats up too quickly. Heating will stop after 3 to 5 minutes.

When using a heating rod, a water pump or filter must be installed to maintain water circulation to ensure consistent water temperature.
